What an idiot Graham is!!! But aren’t 99.99% of most men. I could tell from almost the first that CJ loved him (Graham). CJ just hadn’t used her full range of femininity to insure that Graham realized that he also loved CJ. Good fun read! Enjoyed the read.

I was skeptical about reading this when I read the blurb. But I’m glad I did. I loved CJ’s feisty innocence and Graham’s masculine sweetness. I loved how their story unfolded - hook, conflict, and resolution. Great job!!!

The ending was abrupt and not satisfying. The book didn’t feel like a week of sensual, passionate, chemistry, and love. The climax and falling action was sudden and not complete.

You could elaborate more on how each person feels during sex. Virgin sex was a good opportunity to use a lot more descriptive words. I’m glad you didn’t elaborate on their separation when she went home heartbroken, directly to the save which is more realistic. The story line was great.

Just lacked the chemistry

I thought this story would be more. Brothers best friend is one of my favorite troupes to read but this one lacked. I didn't feel the chemistry other than a true friendship. This is one book that didn't need a HEA. My stomach didn't hurt when I hit the moment at the end where you think they are over. I was just ready for the book to be over :( I did love their friendship. I know this book is for others.

This book is awesome. I love both these authors and thought together... heck yeah! Storyline... CJ(h) is exceptionally close to bed older brother. His best friend is Graham. CJ has something she’d like to get rid of, her VCard. She enlists her Brothers best friend to help her with her ‘problem’. This story had it all. Lovable heroine, amazing and hot hero who is an actual good guy. Like great wish he was real guy!! (And I’m happily married to a great guy myself). This story has it all! I e never read anything by Lili Valente so this was my first experience with her and let me just say, the writing is flawless. Perfect. If I hadn’t know this was written by Two authors going in, I would have said it was written by the same author. Blakely and Valente really hit it out of the park with this one. It’s sweet, funny and sexy! ****Maybe I’ve slipped into an alternate reality, like in Fight Club, only I’m now playing the part of a sex tutor after-hours. And the first rule of Sex Club? When the woman you’re supposed to look out for like a little sister propositions you, SAY NO. Right? Oh, what is Graham to do? You don’t think he would listen to that little ol conscious now do ya? Lol! Even though CJ was looked at like a little sister to him, when she presents him with the offer of taking that pesky little V card, he starts to see her in a brand new way! Especially when she’s wearing his lingerie. Dang, what I wouldn’t do to have a sexy as sin man like Graham who owns his own Lingerie company. The V Card made me laugh, cry, and fan myself! This book is scorching hot with a scorching hot lot of foreplay that will make you turning on the nearest fan to keep your panties from melting. Lauren and Lili are like a dynamic duo with their writing styles that have you turning the pages. They compliment each other so much that I hope they do this again. CJ is a woman who knows what she wants and the man she wants to give it to her. Graham is caught off guard by her request and then is shocked to find that CJ has a sensuality down to a science. She has no idea what a seductress she already is and Graham is holding on for dear life to keep from falling head over heels for the girl next door. She is his best friends little sister so she should be off limits and he struggles with whether or not his friend would have given his blessing if he was still alive. Sometimes those closest to the ones we have loved help us keep their memory alive. I really enjoyed this steamy read and after reading it I’m on to the Audiobook because I have to hear this one read Sebastian York!

But that proved to be harder than they believed. Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente bring the sexy in this book. CJ and Graham’s connection is second to none. I just adored these characters. I loved how much they care for one another even before they started their lessons. I hope The V Card won't be the last collaboration between Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente. I was extremely impressed with the ease and flow of their combined writing.

But that was off limits for both. When she felt 25ys old was too old to still have her V-card she went to the very knowledgeable, legendary Graham for help with that. Graham was leery at first until he started to realize just how much CJ meant to him. He didn’t want just any one teaching her but him. It’s a sweet, sexy story of how the two if them work together to “loose the V-card”. It’s a great book co-authored by two great authors!

Lauren Blakely and Lily Valente are a fabulous writing team and I hope they collaborate a lot more in the future because this book was an absolute joy to read. Graham and CJ are friends that have become even closer in the last few years since the sudden death of his partner, Sean, who was CJ's brother. So when CJ finally acts on her attraction to Graham for the sole purpose of losing her virginity this storyline adds a heart-pounding punch of lust that totally blew my mind. The growing emotional connection between Graham and CJ leads to sinfully sexy encounters that are explicit but never crude or vulgar because that kind of book totally turns me off. This is a 5-star romantic comedy that was enticingly delightful in every single way and I guarantee you're going to love it. The V Card was a super cute and happy read. Its the kind of book that will put you in a good mood! CJ and Graham have history making their chemistry off the charts. The V Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a standalone romance told in dual POV that will poke your feelings, have you laughing out loud and perhaps leave you blushing a little too. Graham and CJ are close friends. Graham is the best friend of CJ's older brother. When her brother passed away, their friendship with each other grew and solidified. When CJ has a proposal of the indecent kind for Graham both their worlds are getting turned on their axis. Well-written and well-paced, the characters are perfectly flawed when apart and wondrously whole when together. The story is well-balanced with minimal drama but just the right amount of angst. Love this duo writing team and their debut story together, which is good for me as I am a fan of both of them separately too! Enjoy!

I have never read anything from Lili Valente but Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors so I knew I just had to read this book. The V Card was the right amount of sweet and sexy. CJ and Graham’s journey from beginning to end was great. They were adorable together and their interactions were fantastic. Graham was perfect-he was caring, he was swoony, he was fun. He was what every woman wants. CJ was an awesome heroine. I loved seeing the change in her from this shy girl to a confident woman. I enjoyed reading about them and the progression of their relationship and seeing just how right they were. I couldn’t get enough of these two. The story flowed nicely and kept me engaged. Overall, The V Card was a lovely read filled with charm, steam, and fun. Lauren and Lili were great together at writing this story!

Fantastic!!

The V Card was hot, funny, sexy, and emotional. I’m not ashamed to say that a few tears roll down my eyes near the end of this book. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite types of books to read. Graham is taking a break from women to focus on his business. He only has time for one woman and that’s his business partner and best friends sister CJ. Ever since CJ’s brother died, her and Graham were there for each other. Graham needs a favor from CJ to help save his company and she wants a personal favor of her own. Let’s just say, her proposal completely throws Graham for a loop. I loved every minute of this book and watching the relationship between them evolve into so much more.

Wow what a great book. Love that these two authors got together to give us such pleasure. This book gives us Graham who owns a company that makes women’s lingerie. He and his best friend Sean built the successful business from scratch and now Sean has passed away and he’s trying to keep the business from being sold off to a chain. Along comes CJ who is Sean’s little sister. Graham has taken it upon himself to look after CJ since his sudden death so when she ask for a favor he decides to help her out. My what a favor. Can these two friends solve each other’s problem? I received a copy of the ARC to voluntarily read and give my opinion. I really enjoyed this book for so many reasons. It was funny, smoldering hot, sensitive, a little sad at times, and absolutely just good. A page turner for sure. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Of course this wouldn’t be a book from Lauren Blakely without an animal of some sort to cause a little havoc here and there. The cat(Stephen King) is funny but, very special to CJ and even to Graham.

These two are gold together creating a story that is very sweet, very sexy and very funny. It’s rather a friends to lovers story but goes much deeper than that. Graham has been the self appointed protector for CJ since her brother Sean’s death. Sean plays a major role in this story both as Graham’s best friend and conscience when it comes to CJ. The V Card by Lauren Blakely OMG!! I absolutely enjoyed reading this next book from Lauren Blakely. I ran through the full range of emotions as I navigated through the pages. Lauren has a unique writing style that provides just the right amount of detail in the description of the characters and their surroundings. We meet Graham Campbell hunk extraordinaire who has built his company from the ground up with his best friend Sean. He loves to be unattached and his favorite pastime is women. Although when we first meet him he is on a sex-batical because women cause him not to concentrate. Huh don’t figure a sexy man that loves women and doesn’t have the ability to be committed to anything except the company. Not a surprise here. Meet Caroline Jessica Murphy or CJ for short. She is a business owner and highly successful. She is 26 and is very inexperience in the men department. Sean was her brother and has known Graham since they were kids. He is always there for her when she needs him. The plan is to ask Graham to help her with a project, but she is afraid it could impact their friendship. What can possibly be the project, or better yet could it be bad enough to ruin a friendship? There are many parts in this books that had this reader laughing aloud with my husband thinking I’m totally crazy. To bad I can’t say that for all the sections because there were tears shed that caused my chest to hurt. As I continued to trudge through the chapters the need to smack both characters upside the head was strong but in the end, it came out just fine. If you are looking for an excellent read to run you through an emotional roller coaster and leaving you wishing, there was more then this is the book for you. As an avid Lauren Blakely reader this book is one of the best.

Lauren and Lili are like a dynamic duo with their writing styles that have you turning the pages. They compliment each other so much that I hope they do this again. The V Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a standalone romance told in dual POV that will poke your feelings, have you laughing out loud and perhaps leave you blushing a little too. Graham and CJ are close friends. Graham is the best friend of CJ's older brother. When her brother passed away, their friendship with each other grew and solidified. When CJ has a proposal of the indecent kind for Graham both their worlds are getting turned on their axis. Well-written and well-paced, the characters are perfectly flawed when apart and wondrously whole when together. The story is well-balanced with minimal drama but just the right amount of angst. Love this duo writing team and their debut story together, which is good for me as I am a fan of both of them separately too! Enjoy!

I have never read anything from Lili Valente but Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors so I knew I just had to read this book. The V Card was the right amount of sweet and sexy. CJ and Graham’s journey from beginning to end was great. They were adorable together and their interactions were fantastic. Graham was perfect-he was caring, he was swoony, he was fun. He was what every woman wants. CJ was an awesome heroine. I loved seeing the change in her from this shy girl to a confident woman. I enjoyed reading about them and the progression of their relationship and seeing just how right they were. I couldn’t get enough of these two. The story flowed nicely and kept me engaged. Overall, The V Card was a lovely read filled with charm, steam, and fun. Lauren and Lili were great together at writing this story!

Fantastic!!

The V Card was hot, funny, sexy, and emotional. I’m not ashamed to say that a few tears roll down my eyes near the end of this book. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite types of books to read. Graham is taking a break from women to focus on his business. He only has time for one woman and that’s his business partner and best friends sister CJ. Ever since CJ’s brother died, her and Graham were there for each other. Graham needs a favor from CJ to help save his company and she wants a personal favor of her own. Let’s just say, her proposal completely throws Graham for a loop. I loved every minute of this book and watching the relationship between them evolve into so much more.

Wow what a great book. Love that these two authors got together to give us such pleasure. This book gives us Graham who owns a company that makes women’s lingerie. He and his best friend Sean built the successful business from scratch and now Sean has passed away and he’s trying to keep the business from being sold off to a chain. Along comes CJ who is Sean’s little sister. Graham has taken it upon himself to look after CJ since his sudden death so when she ask for a favor he decides to help her out. My what a favor. Can these two friends solve each other’s problem? I received a copy of the ARC to voluntarily read and give my opinion. I really enjoyed this book for so many reasons. It was funny, smoldering hot, sensitive, a little sad at times, and absolutely just good. A page turner for sure. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

Of course this wouldn’t be a book from Lauren Blakely without an animal of some sort to cause a little havoc here and there. The cat(Stephen King) is funny but, very special to CJ and even to Graham.

The V Card by Lauren Blakely OMG!! I absolutely enjoyed reading this next book from Lauren Blakely. I ran through the full range of emotions as I navigated through the pages. Lauren has a unique writing style that provides just the right amount of detail in the description of the characters and their surroundings. We meet Graham Campbell hunk extraordinaire who has built his company from the ground up with his best friend Sean. He loves to be unattached and his favorite pastime is women. Although when we first meet him he is on a sex-batical because women cause him not to concentrate. Huh don’t figure a sexy man that loves women and doesn’t have the ability to be committed to anything except the company. Not a surprise here. Meet Caroline Jessica Murphy or CJ for short. She is a business owner and highly successful. She is 26 and is very inexperience in the men department. Sean was her brother and has known Graham since they were kids. He is always there for her when she needs him. The plan is to ask Graham to help her with a project, but she is afraid it could impact their friendship. What can possibly be the project, or better yet could it be bad enough to ruin a friendship? There are many parts in this books that had this reader laughing aloud with my husband thinking I’m totally crazy. To bad I can’t say that for all the sections because there were tears shed that caused my chest to hurt. As I continued to trudge through the chapters the need to smack both characters upside the head was strong but in the end, it came out just fine. If you are looking for an excellent read to run you through an emotional roller coaster and leaving you wishing, there was more then this is the book for you. As an avid Lauren Blakely reader this book is one of the best.

I enjoyed that the story jumped right in and was fast paced. I liked the storyline and enjoyed seeing how they were each affected by the other. The V Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a standalone romance told in dual POV that will poke your feelings, have you laughing out loud and perhaps leave you blushing a little too. Graham and CJ are close friends. Graham is the best friend of CJ's older brother. When her brother passed away, their friendship with each other grew and solidified. When CJ has a proposal of the indecent kind for Graham both their worlds are getting turned on their axis. Well-written and well-paced, the characters are perfectly flawed when apart and wondrously whole when together. The story is well-balanced with minimal drama but just the right amount of angst. Love this duo writing team and their debut story together, which is good for me as I am a fan of both of them separately too! Enjoy!

I have never read anything from Lili Valente but Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors so I knew I just had to read this book. The V Card was the right amount of sweet and sexy. CJ and Graham’s journey from beginning to end was great. They were adorable together and their interactions were fantastic. Graham was perfect-he was caring, he was swoony, he was fun. He was what every woman wants. CJ was an awesome heroine. I loved seeing the change in her from this shy girl to a confident woman. I enjoyed reading about them and the progression of their relationship and seeing just how right they were. I couldn’t get enough of these two. The story flowed nicely and kept me engaged. Overall, The V Card was a lovely read filled with charm, steam, and fun. Lauren and Lili were great together at writing this story!

What an incredibly sweet, sexy, and tender story! I’m no virgin, but Graham can be my teacher anytime. I loved Graham so much! The chemistry between he and CJ was at inferno levels. Fantastic!!

The V Card was hot, funny, sexy, and emotional. I’m not ashamed to say that a few tears roll down my eyes near the end of this book. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite types of books to read. Graham is taking a break from women to focus on his business. He only has time for one woman and that’s his business partner and best friends sister CJ. Ever since CJ’s brother died, her and Graham were there for each other. Graham needs a favor from CJ to help save his company and she wants a personal favor of her own. Let’s just say, her proposal completely throws Graham for a loop. I loved every minute of this book and watching the relationship between them evolve into so much more.

Wow what a great book. Love that these two authors got together to give us such pleasure. This book gives us Graham who owns a company that makes women’s lingerie. He and his best friend Sean built the successful business from scratch and now Sean has passed away and he’s trying to keep the business from being sold off to a chain. Along comes CJ who is Sean’s little sister. Graham has taken it upon himself to look after CJ since his sudden death so when she ask for a favor he decides to help her out. My what a favor. Can these two friends solve each other’s problem? I received a copy of the ARC to voluntarily read and give my opinion. I really enjoyed this book for so many reasons. It was funny, smoldering hot, sensitive, a little sad at times, and absolutely just good. A page turner for sure. I highly recommend it and hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

These two are gold together creating a story that is very sweet, very sexy and very funny. It’s rather a friends to lovers story but goes much deeper than that. Graham has been the self appointed protector for CJ since her brother Sean’s death. Sean plays a major role in this story both as Graham’s best friend and conscience when it comes to CJ. The V Card by Lauren Blakely OMG!! I absolutely enjoyed reading this next book from Lauren Blakely. I ran through the full range of emotions as I navigated through the pages. Lauren has a unique writing style that provides just the right amount of detail in the description of the characters and their surroundings. We meet Graham Campbell hunk extraordinaire who has built his company from the ground up with his best friend Sean. He loves to be unattached and his favorite pastime is women. Although when we first meet him he is on a sex-batical because women cause him not to concentrate. Huh don’t figure a sexy man that loves women and doesn’t have the ability to be committed to anything except the company. Not a surprise here. Meet Caroline Jessica Murphy or CJ for short. She is a business owner and highly successful. She is 26 and is very inexperience in the men department. Sean was her brother and has known Graham since they were kids. He is always there for her when she needs him. The plan is to ask Graham to help her with a project, but she is afraid it could impact their friendship. What can possibly be the project, or better yet could it be bad enough to ruin a friendship? There are many parts in this books that had this reader laughing aloud with my husband thinking I’m totally crazy. To bad I can’t say that for all the sections because there were tears shed that caused my chest to hurt. As I continued to trudge through the chapters the need to smack both characters upside the head was strong but in the end, it came out just fine. If you are looking for an excellent read to run you through an emotional roller coaster and leaving you wishing, there was more then this is the book for you. As an avid Lauren Blakely reader this book is one of the best.

Of course this wouldn’t be a book from Lauren Blakely without an animal of some sort to cause a little havoc here and there. The cat(Stephen King) is funny but, very special to CJ and even to Graham.

The V Card by Lauren Blakely OMG!! I absolutely enjoyed reading this next book from Lauren Blakely. I ran through the full range of emotions as I navigated through the pages. Lauren has a unique writing style that provides just the right amount of detail in the description of the characters and their surroundings. We meet Graham Campbell hunk extraordinaire who has built his company from the ground up with his best friend Sean. He loves to be unattached and his favorite pastime is women. Although when we first meet him he is on a sex-batical because women cause him not to concentrate. Huh don’t figure a sexy man that loves women and doesn’t have the ability to be committed to anything except the company. Not a surprise here. Meet Caroline Jessica Murphy or CJ for short. She is a business owner and highly successful. She is 26 and is very inexperience in the men department. Sean was her brother and has known Graham since they were kids. He is always there for her when she needs him. The plan is to ask Graham to help her with a project, but she is afraid it could impact their friendship. What can possibly be the project, or better yet could it be bad enough to ruin a friendship? There are many parts in this books that had this reader laughing aloud with my husband thinking I’m totally crazy. To bad I can’t say that for all the sections because there were tears shed that caused my chest to hurt. As I continued to trudge through the chapters the need to smack both characters upside the head was strong but in the end, it came out just fine. If you are looking for an excellent read to run you through an emotional roller coaster and leaving you wishing, there was more then this is the book for you. As an avid Lauren Blakely reader this book is one of the best.

Just lacked the chemistry

I thought this story would be more. Brothers best friend is one of my favorite troupes to read but this one lacked. I didn't feel the chemistry other than a true friendship. This is one book that didn't need a HEA. My stomach didn't hurt when I hit the moment at the end where you think they are over. This book is awesome. I love both these authors and thought together... heck yeah! Storyline... CJ(h) is exceptionally close to bed older brother. His best friend is Graham. The V Card by Lauren Blakely and Lili Valente is a standalone romance told in dual POV that will poke your feelings, have you laughing out loud and perhaps leave you blushing a little too. Graham and CJ are close friends. Graham is the best friend of CJ's older brother. When her brother passed away, their friendship with each other grew and solidified. When CJ has a proposal of the indecent kind for Graham both their worlds are getting turned on their axis. Well-written and well-paced, the characters are perfectly flawed when apart and wondrously whole when together. The story is well-balanced with minimal drama but just the right amount of angst. Love this duo writing team and their debut story together, which is good for me as I am a fan of both of them separately too! Enjoy!

I have never read anything from Lili Valente but Lauren Blakely is one of my favorite authors so I knew I just had to read this book. The V Card was the right amount of sweet and sexy. CJ and Graham’s journey from beginning to end was great. They were adorable together and their interactions were fantastic. Graham was perfect-he was caring, he was swoony, he was fun. He was what every woman wants. CJ was an awesome heroine. I loved seeing the change in her from this shy girl to a confident woman. I enjoyed reading about them and the progression of their relationship and seeing just how right they were. I couldn’t get enough of these two. The story flowed nicely and kept me engaged. Overall, The V Card was a lovely read filled with charm, steam, and fun. Lauren and Lili were great together at writing this story!

Wow what a great book. Love that these two authors got together to give us such pleasure. This book gives us Graham who owns a company that makes women’s lingerie.
